Lehman Brothers Distributions - Receiving your distributions
Customers who have not given us payment instructions should contact us to arrange the receipt of the distributions allocated to their account. Our contact details can be found here.
Lehman Brothers Holdings Inc. (“LBHI”) has submitted a request to the Bankruptcy Court to allow it to make an unscheduled eighteenth distribution on or around 18th July 2019. This is because it is due to receive a distribution from the liquidators of the Swiss based Lehman Brothers Finance AG (“LBF”), which it hopes to receive on 28th June 2019. The proposed distribution is subject to Court approval and LBHI’s timely receipt of the payment from LBF. We will update this information as soon as possible after any developments.
We received a final distribution from Lehman Brothers Treasury B.V. (“LBT”) on 7th May 2019. The distribution rate was a little over 2.22% of the LBT claim valuations. The payment derives from the partial wind-down of the LBT estate. We will no longer receive distributions from LBT but will continue to receive distributions from LBHI in respect of our Class 5 Guarantee Claim against LBHI in respect of its role as guarantor of the LBT securities. The distributions have been allocated to individual Accounts and, where we have received bank account details, forwarded to customers. More details to the background of the Final Distribution can be located here.
The LBS estate has been wound down and no further distributions are payable from LBS.
